Beech color is light rosy brown. The texture is subtle and the grain is mostly straight.
Purposes: chairs and furniture in general; panels, curved outlines and plywood.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Light heartwood brown, the grain goes from straight to irregular and crossed depending on the growth conditions. Sawn sides radially show the characteristics silver shape created by the large rays.
Purposes: furniture, carpentry of high quality, Cognac, wine and beer barrels, coffers.

Quality: knots are allowed on both sides, up to 30mm; mostly sound knots, heart pieces not allowed, big central cracks and checks not allowed. Minimum presence of small cracks on the heads and limited presence of sapwood.
